Tracker has a nose. A nose that helps him find lost things and people and a nose that gets him into trouble. Leopard, a shape-shifting cat, convinces Tracker to join a team working to reunite a mother with her long-lost son. It is soon clear that great forces work to keep the boy hidden. Tracker and Leopard travel across an African-inspired fantasy landscape but wonder if the person who wants the boy to remain hidden is among their own group.
